The Dudes Terrific; the name says it all. Four dudes get together with some tunes, some attitude and an idea of what rock ‘n’ roll should be, and what comes next is music that you’ll have to listen to over and over again! They have put out two great albums (TDT II & Born Yesterday), both born out of a love for riff and melody, lyric and hook, and a time when rock music was still fresh, exciting and entertaining. The Dudes Terrific are the brainchild of Matt Goedken and Doug Forshey. Both have been involved in the music industry in Nashville since the mid '90's, and in late 2007, they finally decided to write and record a project that not only reflected their cumulative influences, but stoked their creative sides as well. With the help of their two friends, Ruben Garces and Michael Jeffers, what you get is an expertly played, written, and sung collection of music that is an unabashed tribute to 60's and 70's classic rock and roll, all the while still creating a completely unique sound. The Dudes Terrific, as of August 2011, have released two albums, TDT II (2010), and Born Yesterday (2008), and are currently writing songs for their next record. TDT II has been garnering attention all over the globe, most recently in a 4 out of 5 review in the british music mag Black Velvet. TDT II finds the boys back in fine form showcasing their talents as songwriters and musicians.
